2024: I pulled together archive and stock images and the latest news updates to make a quick Instagram Reel and try to reach more people outside the regular audiences of the National Health Care for the Homeless Council.
2025: Quick and easy Reel made from royalty-free music and an animated icon on a static background.
2023: I wrote text paired it with stock video and music to create a somber invitation to the annual online observance of Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day for the National Health Care for the Homeless Council.
2019: In 2019 I served as art director, cover artist, and layout editor for Coffin Bell TWO, a printed anthology of dark literature. I also had a short story included in the anthology, so I was extra excited and decided on a whim one night (yes, one night) to make a book trailer.
I combined screenshots and screen recordings of the layout process with several of the strange (royalty-free) photos I had collected for possible use in the book. I found the perfect royalty-free song, added a few sentences to the screen, and did my best to make a block of condensed dead tree feel terrifying. I really love how it turned out!
